One day I saw a box of spilled tortillas on a corner, and just a block away some pigeons were standing around looking hungry. I thought - 'Wow...just imagine how efficient they could be if they could use the internet to get information on where food has been spilled!'
(It's not too far-fetched...for I've already seen ''Night Pigeons'' - ones out at like 10pm. Since it never really gets dark here, they've overcome millions of years of programming and have said ''Hey - it's still light out...why do we gotta go to sleep just because the sun set?'')
Three pigeons were nice enough to pose long enough for me to be able to sketch them in the park one day.
And yes...they love eating fresh barf and fried chicken!
