- About this Batch -
Dawnsilks are early birds that feed only on sunrise light. They do appear late at night but head to bed around evening.
Daysilks love hot light and sunbathing. They only wake up from late morning and go to bed just as the sun is setting. They aren't fond of the nightlife.
Dusksilks wake up during the evenings to soak up some nice sunset auras. They do spend their nights up, but they dislike mornings with a passion.
Nightsilks feed off cool reflected light from the moon. Unlike the other three silks, they can map the stars on their skin simply by observing the sky. They hit bed around late morning.
All of these silks can produce a glow / shine when powered by their food source. Once they're charged, they can light up to scare away enemies or to attract more of their kind. Or rave party.
- Species Summary -
Silks are a magical humanoid species. They're social and often found in moderate-sized communities.
Silks, unlike their smaller silkling counterparts, recharge their magic energy by exposure to their element. When this happens, usually their bodies shine.
They all have their own language, but can easily learn another creature's language if necessary. Mind elements tend to learn faster.
Silks have long, slender tails that they use like whips to stun and confuse prey. But they also use them for self-defense.
The small bat-like creature, known as a Shayura, that follows them is their famliar. These creatures are a sign that the silk has already come of age. Shayura start out void of color, but upon finding their silk, they inherit the design. They essentially become one with the silk. There are silks that do not have shayuras.
Powers are based off these elements: Flora - Water - Light - Mind - Necro - Mystic
There are silks without powers. These are fairly common.
Divine silks are the rarest type of silk. They have horns that project their element and their shayura becomes a physical entity fused into them. Its wings take different shapes and sizes.
