Gassy typhlosions were pretty nonexistent back then. Typhlosion is this hot badger-like creature and he could be pretty gassy too, his body seems pretty bulky and dense enough to be a good gasser~
This fella, let's call him Tony for simplicity. Typhlosions with their ravenous and presumably meaty diets do get quite gassy from time to time. And Tony here felt a big fart let rip and he thought it would be neat to raise a leg and cut a big one! His little stubby badger like tail fluttered in that rancid breeze as that putrid smell of brimstone filled the area, you can catch him with that snickering expression like he knows his flatulence stinks and he is quite intrigued by it really.
Fire types probably do have warm farts, just to fit in with that theme. He probably could fart fire if he tried. Really, that thing has got to let out hot extremely stinky gases, His fire isn't activated mostly because fire is hard to draw and also it's not like he's battling with anyone, the gas would be a pretty good toxic substitute anyway, phew!~
Fun fact is that the hydrogen and methane in farts do make them flammable, not terribly so, but well it's something intriguing to note. A fire-type's farts would likely contain a higher amount of those gases as well.
Viewer question: Would you say a fire-type's farts are 'nose-burning'?
