I swear, my mother is smart and stupid at the same time.

I live very close to where I work, so I take the trolley to get there. The stop is about a 5 minute drive from my house, 12 minutes walking. Today was he day of the local road race, so my mother thought I should get up half an hour earlier. Because of this I though she was just going to drive me to work. No, she wasn't, she was taking me to the stop as usual. So I got to sit for a long while, waiting for the trolley to come, wondering why I listened to her.
