"How on earth does Ryuusuke sleep? Does he like coil up, or does he just not sleep?" asked Anonymous on Tumblr, so...
He does indeed coil, and rest his head on the soft plume of his tail! When he’s alone he rests on top of his precious hoard in his cave, when he has company he wraps around his guest(s) so they are snugly tucked in his coils…and to ensure they’re kept close to him! Overnight guests are actually treated like part of his treasure and so they are placed right by his face, allowing him to keep an eye on them and keep them in place.
Now you know!
I was gonna draw him snoring with his mouth wide open but this just looked too cute so I aborted DON'T GET MAD

Oh, this is really sweet! The first thing I noticed was the colour; to me, everything looks to have been brightened up. Looking at the fur along Ryuu's back, usually it's a very dark colour with a hint of that green, but making it lighter just seems to give this piece a happier mood! I suppose there's no eat-all-the-furries hungry dragon going on, which helps too. :p Really sweet piece! Tumblr seems to be a good incentive for you to practice new things, I think. Something you can learn from this piece for future pieces is how brightness of colour can change the mood of the whole piece. Very nice!
