WOLFS NOT A CLONE!
im still upset that wolf, the one character who's least clone (5% not counting final smash since thats optional) gets cut out yet falco stays. and guess what? falco STILL has landmaster! FFS >.<
me: all you have to do is give him better specials and you're done! finished!
sakurai: ok! (puts dark pit and dr. mario in)
me: -_-.... i don't understand your logic...

I have a thought concerning that, seeing as how Zelda's [and Sheik's] down-B was changed to an attack. By doing so, players no longer have the advantage of controlling two characters in a match. Ice Climbers probably posed the same style, even though they're pretty much clones themselves, the difference being you can control both at once. Also, wobbling and grab combos.
The Reason why some of these characters got removed for Smash Bros 4 was to make room for the new characters and give players a larger variety of characters to choose from. Although, While a few characters in the game offer bigger varieties of fighting styles for the players to choose from, Nintendo is making a few mistakes by adding more carbon copies of original character models, For Characters like Lucina and Dr. Mario, I don't think those two should even BE in the new smash game, sure they were the highlight of the games THEY star'd in, but they don't offer much to the players to make them have value in Smash what'soever since they have the exact same attacks as the originals. Plus, why bring back Dr. Mario? it's the SAME GUY, his powers are just different, there's no significance to him anymore, plus there's people who are starting to hate Mario.
While Wolf was just another copy of Fox, Nintendo completely modified him to actually posses far more unique attacks than what Fox and Falco were packing. Sure all of his attacks were still similar to the two, but they had these additional effects that made Wolf crazy ass deadly. Maybe Nintendo's original intention was to add less carbon copies of the originals and not have some many powerful and easy to master characters, but forgot that when they added copies of Marth, Pit, Mario, and more when they wanted to add variety.
While we can no longer play Wolf, or at least wait until nintendo announces a DLC for Wolf 'O Donnel. We can still honor his memories through Fox Macloud, as he has succesfully inherrited some of the Wolf's techniques from Brawl, such as Wolf Flash.
