The broken fence and bandaged hearts.
You let your guard down to love but was rejected and hurt. You want to love or Show love but the pain of your past hurt (the little friend) keeps reminding you so you fear being rejected again. You try to heal it yourself (bandage) by whatever means but nothing is working.
At least it's what I see. Could be wrong :)
