if there is any weapon i could own, it would definitely be a Lucerne. i cant contemplate the idea of fighting another in armor with a sword, unless you are halfswording. even in that case, it would seem that impact weapons are in much more efficient, yet they get little to no recognition whatsoever. in this thought, i took the oppurtunity to do a quick picture of a Knight of York.

the Armet (helmet) was a design i found of an Italian Cavalryman. i loved the helmet so much, i couldn't resist putting it on him it didn't seem to impractical whoever said that Armor was never traded. and bah Chivalry, i have my doubts on Chivalry and Bushido and how often they were followed. and even so who says Pole hammers are unChivalrous i say they are efficient!
I live just a wee bit south of Yorkshire. Not that anyone cares but I'm throwing that in there anyway lol. Did you know that it's legal for a Yorkshire man to shoot a Scott with a crossbow providing he's standing on a castle? It's one of those medieval laws that's never been ammended.
