• Liana was born a normal human, however when he was three his parents volunteered him into test of an experimental drug in return for money. The drug caused mutations in children under fourteen. These mutated children become sort of second-class citizens, it is hard for them to find jobs and even then they are mostly severely under paid and it is difficult for them to get into good schools, muck less afford higher education. Because of this, Liana works at a gay stripclub/brothel as a stripper and prostitute to pay for his living expenses and collage education as he can earn up to $20,000 on a good night, as he is fairly popular.

•The cross within a circle by the picture of his tail is a mark at the base of his spine that is visible when he doesn't have his tail. The tail comes out from the middle of this mark, it's kind of a sheath for the tail. There is no trace of the tail once it's in him, as it goes up into his spinal column, think of it as a sort of mutated extension of his spinal cord.

• His horns are sensitive, he has likened them being touched to being tickled or groped depending on the pressure applied.

• Only one arm is a tentacle, the other is normal. He rarely wears long sleeves on the tentacle side, as the suckers on it stick to the fabric.

• His preferred clothing for when he isn't working are sweaters or long sleeved shirts, with one arm removed, usually with turtle necks or hoods and very short shorts or skirts. He is also fond of pretty dresses and is usually wearing stockings or long socks.
