I love Fantasia as well and the song title is French for The Sorcerer's Apprentice which what that scene from Fantasia was inspired by.
And originally that scene was suppose to of been made into a full length animated movie. But that idea was put aside until 70 years later when Jerry Bruckheimer made it into a live-action film in 2010
