I had other one occasion to draw 
original character, her awesomeness Danora, but this time it was a real challenge.
I say often that in all the artwork I've seen involving her, Danora seems to have a golden armor, or something that gives an aura of strength to her. BUT when Dutch described me what I really had to do, I immediately fell in love with his idea.
He wanted to show her softer side, something her fellow pilots cannot see because she refuses to let her guard down.
And I've put all my passion to give justice to this pic <3

Lady when this popped up I must have stared at for 5 minutes straight and didn't even blink XD
This is absolutely perfect, couldn't have asked for anything better because this is just how I envisioned those rare solitary moments were she just cracks under the weight of everything that has happened.
She is a strong girl and a very angry one as well, just sometimes she allows to be a little less angry and cold just so long nobody can see it.
This really one of the most beautiful and touching drawings anyone has made of her, and I love it to bits :)

But I don't really know how, because when I came home after three days of emotional pain I've immediately read your email, then your submission with my drawing and I was like "omg why ya do this to me"
Consequently, I'm drowning in a sort of pool filled by different feelings. On one hand I'm very happy because I worked on something that I liked a lot, plus the story behind it is touching and very well exposed...
On the other hand dat short story is something that destroyed me in many ways xD when you wrote me that you were working on something behind the drawing I was very excited and it came out a brilliant thing, I love and hate it because of feels you know
No problem, I'm an adult person and I can('t) handle it ç-ç
Was that correct english? argh
Anyway, I should say that I've loved to work on this drawing, you gave me a lot of freedom and I'm really glad you like it <3 AND Danora is definitely one of my favorite OC, you made an amazing job on her and you must be proud of this awesome girl!
