I finished installing the jaw and I cleaned up the cyborg eye. I added scars to explain why he has a robotic eye and I added a metal plate to give it a more realistic look. The next steps into my project is completing the other half of the head which will take some time due to school, but overall this is most definitely coming along good.

I have seen people use a felt like material to make the necks.
But there are many different ways to do it. You could build the back of the head/neck out of thin foam, and cover it with a shiney fabric from Hancock or really any fabric store.that way it won't wrinkle and such.
But whatever you decide, we look forward to seeing it! It was a recently discussed idea at DVC!

Ok thanks. I'll have to look into your suggestions and see which idea will work out the best. The biggest problem i'm facing is applying the scales for the back of the head. It will be a bit more difficult to stick because the scales are just vinyl/decal material. But I should be able to figure it out.
