After almost a week in the field Arun returns to the Annalene for a well deserved break. Wearing a sealed helmet for days on end does terrible things to one's hair, so she's incredibly thankful when Azul offers to man-handle if for her. They chat idly as he pulls the last of knots out.

And I'm sure that's true, it would make wearing a helmet much easier too! But I have to admit to a little bit of self-indulgence when I say that, speaking for both Arun and myself, I don't think I'd EVER want my hair to be that short. I'd look silly :P

if you where hats and/or helmets a lot, it is easier to have short hair. but if you have long hair and wear hats it just looks bad especially when you take the hat off. ive seen people where they have this perfect straight bit of hair where their hat is and this bit of tangeld dirty looking hair where the inst and it looks just horrible(IMHO).
Looks like you need a hairmet!
