There's a bit of history to this picture; we'd gone out to a friend's place, well outside city limits, to chill with them for the night. Eventually we knew we had to make the trek home, so we bid them farewell and went out to the car. There were no lights outside of their house lights, and in front was a large field. In this field were probably hundreds of fireflies, to the point that no matter where you looked, they flashed.

I would have loved to just sit out there for hours and watch. Sadly, it was a work night, so we could only spend 10 or so minutes enjoying the rare sight, but... it was special.
