Meet Oden, a 19-year-old lynx living in the Otter and Owl Centre in the New Forest. I drew this from an adoption photograph of him while staying down there. I saw him briefly, too, and he is a cranky old man, but enjoys his time lounging in the sun and catching the occasional pigeon.
The picture turned out really weird - close up it looks awful, but from couple of metres away and it's fine. Go figure. I need more practise with my animals.

Perhaps he reflects on all the pigeons he has caught over the past years...
It's a funny one, the original looked so fuzzy when I finished the drawing, but looking from across the room it was quite nice. Oh well. I can't make any comparisons between the original and the scan as I left the original to our hosts in the New Forest. ^_^
