Heh. I've come to the conclusion that he is secretly either (a) a ninja or (b) Dr. Who, because the only time anyone ever sees him is at conventions, and then he promptly disappears into the aether.
He does tend to return to the same con a year later, though, and will happily pick up his badge with a smile.
