Built by orenstein and koppel in 1938 this 600mm gauge engine was built for the nazi's and used in a rubber manufacture plant and then used to cart away rubble as the war progressed. Bought by hesston in the 1970s she arrived with bullet holes in her and a photograph of hitler still pinned in her cab, the german sailors who brought her over running the engine about in the dock yards until she was picked up joyriding on her if you will.
Not running when was there she had failed her hydrostasis test and was being repaired for another.
