In another dimension, Johnny Foxtails is a lone humanoid warrior known as Rokit (Rogue Kitsune)... scarred by the same demons that haunt his past, and driven for the desire to avenge his fallen friends and mother.
Instead of a Bojitsu staff (that Foxtails uses), Rokit weilds two western-style Revolver pistols but also has the same fighting style (Kit Clan Ninjutsu) as his counter part (Foxtails).
I debuted this outfit at the recent Prancing Skiltaire (September 2014), and it was a hit. To be honest, the outfit actually came out better than I thought. I was inspired to make this costume from a toy design I came across on Google search: https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-.....ri-Concept.jpg
I wanted MY attempt to be original, and not a rip-off of the toy concept.
The outfit consists of:
Helmet- The helmet consist of a paper mask I made through intricate cuts that were bent and taped together. Later the paper was coated with ABS piping compound to strengthen it. Following after, it was spray painted with white paint, and detailed with mesh eye pieces, fabric paint lines, and a button made to look like a center light. The base is merely a Air-Soft face mask that the paper mask was glued onto.
Balaclava- Using the same pattern as my Foot Clan hood, I replicated the hood piece, but without the mesh eyes.
Vest- The vest was purchased at a thrift store a few months back. Believe it or not, this is the same vest that was meant for my GIMP outfit. <^.^'>
Shirt- The shirt is a simple athletic shirt purchased at Wal Mart.
Scarf- The scarf was purchased at SAVERS. Meant for a woman... worn by me.
Pants- The pants are just some NIKE windbreakers I had in my wardrobe.
Guns- The guns are water pistols I bought at the 99 Cents store. I simply sanded them and painted them with silver paint and a faint coat of black.
Gauntlet- The gauntlet was based off of the original design of the Foot Clan Soldier gauntlets, however, I added a round tip... oh, and the material as pleather.
Gloves- The gloves are leather bike gloves purchased at the local swap meet.
Boots- The boots are the same military boots I have worn for The Genome Soldier outfit, and the KING outfit.
So yar, that pretty much explains it all. Hope you like it!
