Aaand at last, my final piece from the most recent queue can be revealed in earnest! 
Lionel always has some of the most whacky, fascinating commission ideas, and all the crazy characters in his repertoire never cease to be an excellent challenge! I had no clue he'd ventured into Wonderland-esque type surrealist caterpillar beasties, let alone with such a passion for shoes! Oh, so many shoes. And little servant mice to help keep everything laced tight and orderly. The sheer volume of ridiculous shoes in the heap was a challenge by itself, though one made all the more entertaining by my streaming company-- of whom proved ready and eager to help find absurd designs to throw in.
