thewanderingfox and I reached the summit of Mt. Rainier on the morning of Sept. 14th 2014. I got into suit just after stepping into the crater of the mountain. We were still in the shade, and it was early morning (about 7am). This means it was extremely cold getting out of my mountaineering gloves and mittens in order to get into the paws, tail and head. I hiked from the crater with  thewanderingfox up to register rock to sign my name in the register, and then up to the actual highest point on the mountain summit.
