Just a WIP of something quick I was working on.
Making a candle, the one right in front of me.
Really just wanted something quick to learn about subsurface scattering.
The only reason it's not done when I first started is because procrastination.
A LOT of it seemingly...
Anyway, I overcurved the glass rim, but it's fine. And I have to do something with that liquid.
The candle wax needs some work as well. That's the thing I've been playing with the most.
Then I'll make a candle fire. That's the other thing I have to learn. Again.
Sorry for 'fireflies'. That happens with some renders. But this was just a WIP, so I didn't worry too much.
Anyway, something to look forward to I guess. I need to do more work. And I need to do it faster.

Glass, water, and shaders like that are usually the cause of those 'fireflies', as many call them.
I could have reduced some of them, but this was just a doodle, heh.
I've only seen half a tutorial on SSS. Apparently it is one of the harder shaders to learn.
I don't usually learn all the technical bits anyway, just enough to get by, heh heh.
