Ikani paused as she caught a glint out of the corner of her eye from something just off the path. After a quick search, she decided it must have been her imagination, and she turned to get back to her walk.
She made one step towards the path and stumbled, her foot caught on something. She looked down to find herself standing in a bright purple puddle. She tried to pull herself free again, but the sticky substance drew her feet back down.
Slowly, the goo began creeping up her legs, a hot sensation following with it. She grabbed the goo in an attempt to pull it off of her, but only managed to spread the goo faster.
