My cute little moth character!
His name is Konstantin Nachtfalter and he lives in a post-apocalyptic world created by myself and  Tybalt_the_friesian. We have created an RPG around this world and it's name is D.E.A.D! - Das Ende Aller Dinge - German for: The End of All Things.

Kostja is a Deathhead Hawkmoth. He receives visions - glimpses of the future or of the fate of people around him. But he tends to see more the catastrohpes in people's lifes than the good news. >_<; That's why people often don't like him to tell the future for them.
He's very kind-hearted and friendly but he's also a Dangerboy. He loves trouble and is a master in getting into it and out of it alive. But that also means it's trouble to have him around. ^^;

His Motto might be: Everything for a friend.
Kostja is a so-called Forsaken. They are Sinners who stayed behind on earth after the apocalypse as most of humankind did. God chosed his favourite and good humans and signed them with the sign of the Lamb. Those who were sinners were signed with the sign of the Beast.
The world was totally destroyed during the apocalypse and the third World War - and most of the people who stayed behind didn't noticed what was really happening.
Little people knwo that God is gone and that they are all caught in a kind of hell-on-earth as the absence of God means Hell.

The Forsaken are strong sinners... their soul is marked with one of the Seven Deadly Sins and they can't escape that. It's branded on their soul and hence God is gone there's noonw who could forgive their since and giving them absolution.
That doesn't necessarily mean they are evil creatures, no. But their Sin is a burden they have to bear forever. In Kostja's case (and that of all Fairies) it's the sin of Gluttony.

But the Forsaken also are granted certain powers. As Earth has become Hell, the strong Sinners gain power over other human beings whom's sins are not strong enough to exhalt them. Kostja can look like a human being. He does most of the time, in fact. Yet he can transform into Shadow-Shape - which is what you can see here on the Ref. :)

He's usually very charming and loves to flirt with both men and women. The post-apocalyptic Europe he inhabits is build up again by Russian Armies who united to The NEw World Alliance.
Those people usually don't like Forsaken as they think those creatures are very dangerous. Among their ranks are many a forsaken as well - but they pull strings and hide their powers - using them to manipulate the human armies and to control the other Forsaken with their tools, establishing power over the new world after the apocalypse.

^^; That was a long story but it has been a while since I drew one of my own characters and so I wanted to tell his story. It's the first time I reveal a drawing of him - so I felt the urge to tell you something about his Origins. ^^; If you know my other characters you know thatz Aza'zel is also from that background. He's also a Forsaken in the world of D.E.A.D! and a role playing character of mine.

I have to thank  mothra :) For her art work made me try to draw Kostja again. She asked me for a picture of my Moth boy and here it is. :) Thanks for inspiring me, Girl! You are awesome!

Edit: Kostja can have four arms. ^^; I was just too lazy to draw them 'ere and it costs him something to have them. His Energy is brought up and then lowered for every Hour he uses the additional arms. ^^; But one might as well draw him with four arms. ;)
