I did a thing.
Expanding on that; I did a thing of the background variety as a sort of self-inflicted challenge to myself to actually bother making a piece look more interesting than just something in front of a white void. Can you believe I went through like five different cloud formations before I got one I was happy with? Even then I still had a difficult time decided which one I liked the most, but I think it all comes together rather nicely for a first time doing this sort of thing. The biggest issue I have with this piece though, is that the lighting doesn't actually match that on the sheep, and the male is slightly smaller in scale to the female next to him, which I can only blame on my own lack of observation skills and also my stubbornness in refusing to change it. That's my problem I think. Every time I draw or colour or whatever, I'll be going along just fine and then suddenly my eyes are like "That's wrong.", but then my brain will respond "I don't care, I'm not bothered fixing it" and then a civil war breaks out inside my body that more often than not results in a complete shutdown of my creative juices that brings all work to a standstill for extended periods of time. So my only advice would be to ensure all your organs are co-existing in peace before you get started "art'ing" the place up, but it also helps if you're not mental like me.
