Thanks, I wish I was able to get even closer (this photo is cropped so it looks closer) and get even more details of the iris pigments, but she was already getting annoyed with my camera being that close(hence the eye pinning).
Definitely will be using this as a reference for new fursuit eyes, should I ever get around to doing it.

Yeah, I noticed that birds are generally leery of lenses, corvids especially... trying to stick one close to a bird's eye to see the glorious detail generally sounds like it wouldn't be well received XD

I'm planning on tear duct vision and resin eyes when I get the time to remake the head. My focus is on finishing up the wings first though... and those markings I keep saying I'm going to get done.

Coolios. I'm going to make some sort of attempt to do that for my first head XD although not with resin, more like your approach I think, unless I want to try sculpting hard foam (mat foam) like someone else I know did. It will be... educational.
