My half of an art trade with delgrotto on DA. She wanted me to draw one of her demon characters. And here it is.
This is Rahs. He's the guardian of the Gates of Delgrotto (the demon world). He's usually silent and only speaks when he has to. Other than that, he permits or denies entry with a shake or nod of his head.

I wanted to try and convey Rah's silence visually, so that is why this is in stark black and white and the only things in view are Rahs and a still gate. Um... yeah... don't really know how to explain it well, but I did want to create something that visually conveyed silence.

Rahs himself is done in traditional media and the background is digital. I'd say this is one of my better digital/traditional hybrids.
