Emergency! Funds for a new tablet! [Please read]
So, my tablet (Bamboo Connect) that I had for nearly or over three years, fell and now it is busted. The mapping is all screwed up and I don't think it can be fixed. It had a good run with a lot of memories. <3
I heard Wacom isn't producing Bamboo tablets since they're now Intuos. (Well that's my research on it)
Now I need to save up for an Intuos Pro medium. The amount I need is around $400.
I need a brand new tablet ASAP because I still have work and overdue commissions!
If any of ya'll are kind enough to donate. Please send it here:

Any amount will do fine, more information will be available in an upcoming journal. Thank you!

I sadly don't have the money to contribute (I just had to take a bunch of emergency commissions to cover an unexpected vet bill), but I think I should tell you that you can actually still get a new Bamboo Connect tablet on Amazon, sold by Wacom.

Not many left, but it's $150 as opposed to $400. Just thought I'd put that out there. Either way you go, best of luck!

My friend is selling these wacoms. has 3, i've seen them in and they're decent, but I cannot afford them. But they have photoshop and windows 7 loaded on them, so they're their own separate PC.
If these are more your speed, that will save you 200 for a good tablet.
If not I'm sorry I couldn't be more of a bigger help.

I'm sorry to hear. If it's any consolation. The tablet I use is quite reasonably priced:

Metal pen, a must for the correct feel and it's battery powered so no worries about it dying. I've dropped it a billion times still running strong.
Also the tablet is metal too. Dropped it a dozen times as well. It's not too big or small it's about the size of my monitor.
Good luck!

Yeah Bamboo's are called Intuos now but it's only a new name. Intuos Pen and Intuos Pen & Touch now instead of Bamboo Pen (& Touch) ;)
So it's not completely right to say they don't produce it anymore ^^ But yeah the Intuos Pro medium is bigger as the Pen & Touch medium... but also twice as expensive!
