FC '14 #373: Blame it on Skip! (Need ID of bunny.)
There is no doubt that in a biology lab in university, there are test animals-one will have to sign a petition or contract to submit to the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee ("IACUC": https://www.aalas.org/iacuc) in order scientists to be humane with them and to not harm them on purpose.
I might guess that since Skip the mouse was able to escape a lab and become a lab technician, he does have lots of responsibilities to treat his test subjects. Well, he may be in trouble, the science mouse must have made the bunny handicapped! (See cane.) He may be revoked his lab certifications or go to jail.....
