“Uncle Sam” Lincoln Bio
NOTE: This name applies to both a fictional character and the real feline it shares its namesake with, so both are mentioned.
Species (real): White lion
Species (fictional): Star-spangled lion (skin has the proper display of the American flag) that goes naked
Alternate name: none
Age immortalized: 30
Occupation (real): Assistant to Mayor Clarkson; owner and operator of Wildcat Park
Occupation (fictional): Mascot for Wildcat City Lions, the city’s new minor league baseball team, operating independent of the MLB
Original hometown (real): Wildcat City, Kansas, USA
Original hometown (fictional): Washington, D.C., USA
Battle uniform (real): none
Battle uniform (fictional): none
Alternate clothes (real): Uncle Sam outfit on appropriate occasions; standard blue suit with white shirt and red tie, blue slacks, and black shoes and belt
Background info (real): Sam’s family history goes all the way back to the colonial days of America, and his ancestors, his tree shows, were alive during the Revolution. He hasn’t determined which one was present at the battlefields at the time of the “shot heard ’round the world,” the gunshot that started the war and signaled the birth of the U.S. of A. He has a history degree from WU and also one in political science (he double majored in those two). He serves on Mayor Clarkson’s ethics panel, and voted “YES” on a vote that allowed the city to have its own minor league team. WU donated its old stadium, Wildcat Park, as a result and built a new one (banking on Cripto’s donations) for the university’s team (Wildcat Field). Sam has a brother, Jason, that helps him run the stadium and works as a beverage vendor. He frequently operates the scoreboard, which also has a clock; all numbers are displayed in traditional LED lighting, which experiments using multiple colors (red for the visitors, yellow for the home team, and bright green for the clock). “The traffic light trio was easier to use; there are no white or blue LED lights available,” Sam said to the press in an interview on the stadium’s opening. “Plus, it was the cheapest way to do it, but I like having more than one color.”
Sam has an Uncle Sam outfit and wears it on patriotic holidays and occasions, and has appeared in Independence Day parades alongside Leo the Patriotic Lion (whom was wearing the same outfit some years and his green band uniform other years).
Background info (fictional): The fictional red, white, and blue lion with the same name got the name due to the fact the real Sam wears the Uncle Sam outfits and has a huge attitude of patriotism. The character is the mascot of the baseball team (indeed, people wear the costume and parade around the stadium as the lion), and is seen in various animations depending on the game’s situation. (The most popular one is him blowing the bugle call into a bugle and then roaring as the screen shows the word “CHARGE!”) The fictional character is also in the works of starring in a new television cartoon and comic book series intended to further teach children about America’s history; in it, the lion plays a magical field drum (snare drum), fife, and bugle at various points, and concludes with a quote before marching along the path, away from the viewers, and playing a fife tune while doing so. The most common tunes selected so far have been “Yankee Doodle,” “The Girl I Left Behind Me,” and “Union Quick Step.”
Superpowers (real): none
Superpowers (fictional): when involved in a battle, his magical field drum, bugle, or fife, can hypnotize the enemy and order them to march behind him, often leading to their doom
Arch-nemesis (real): none
Arch-nemesis (fictional): Dr. Empire, a twisted human being determined to change or erase American history (this is not based on any real person; the real Sam’s brother, Jason, is scheduled to do the voice of Dr. Empire)
Personal quote (real): “The traffic light trio was easier to use; there are no white or blue LED lights available. Plus, it was the cheapest way to do it, but I like having more than one color.” (interview upon the grand opening of Wildcat Park as a minor league ballpark).
Personal quote (fictional): “Remember, kids, learn your history, or you’re just downright doomed to repeat it.” (said during show’s pilot episode)
Catchphrase (real): none
Catchphrase (fictional): “Keep your eye on the grand old flag!”
NOTES: Wildcat Park has only one level of seating alongside only the first base and third base sides, and can seat about 20,000 people. It is strategically located inside Battlefield Range itself, instead of alongside the highway, to make it easier to get to. The team’s colors are also red, white, and blue, to contrast with the white, gold, and green that WU uses. (Blue is the predominant jersey color for home games, and white is the predominant color for away games; the team name, player’s names, and numbers are in red on both occasions.)
Also available to read in The Mortal's Basic Guide to the G-52s.

Soil: Owner and operator of Wildcat Park. I'm sure you use our products a lot to keep your park green.
Zachary: US Army Corps of Engineers is responsible in maintaining America's national parks believe it or not. However, I would have no problem helping you out in sprucing up that park.
Star: You should've seen our demonstration with the flowerbed walls to prevent livestock like sheep from grazing and damaging the flowers.
Zax: Another ally as always. This one appears to be a park manager. I'm sure you've seen Leo's international parallels.
Chuong: Good thing there's Luong because he's Leo's Vietnamese parallel!

Uncle Sam: I haven't been able to buy those products of S4's yet, but could you show them to me so that I can do so? Also, I heard about the flowerbed walls, and may I congratulate you on the success of those? Yes? Excellent.
Leo: Have you met the parallels?
Uncle Sam: I have now. I was impressed that there were those to start with, but the fact you have so many really soars to new heights. We thank all of you for all of your hard work in fighting evil, and you personally, Cripto, because it was your funding that helped make this possible.
Cripto: No problem.

Cripto: No problem.
Star: Strangely enough, when we used to be terrorists, we used Cripto's wealth but mainly for good reasons such as expanding our green agenda. Sure we're heroes today but we still promote our agenda to keep our world clean and safe so that people like you can enjoy your job in managing parks.
Soil: Mayor Clarkson has approved our flowerbed walls. However, S4 is very interested in helping you to not only maintain your park but also beautify it more so it can attract more visitors as well as make it an excellent tourism spot for events such as Cripto's concerts.
Chuong: Luong's a great guy!
Capuno: Oh come on! We got Liwanag the Maharlika Lion representing The Philippines! The Noah Faction likes him the most even though Irwin seems to dislike him.
Chuong: Flynne, who is a Philippine female eagle, probably likes Liwanag the most since she and him, like you, are Filipinos.
Capuno: That and Liwanag looks cool and menacing! Yes, he goes around shirtless in red pants with bulging muscles on his large body frame with tribal tattoos allover his body with the Filipino flag painted on his back as a tattoo. This is part of our culture where Maharlika warriors paint tribal tattoo designs on their bodies as tradition as well as to make themselves look more fierce than they already are. So pardon Liwanag but that's his way our expressing our patriotism as Filipinos in a way how you express patriotism in that outfit for America.
Balthasar/Baldwin: Back in Iceland, its common for large and muscular males, especially furries, to go around public shirtless as our way of showing patriotism for our country. Leonhard does that sometimes.
Zax: *to Uncle Sam* Lets just say that we learn a lot from people who come from various parts of our world.

Uncle Sam: I'll remember that. I thought he was just a bodybuilder but actually be decent about it. Leonhard, I mean.
Leonhard: Exactly.
Uncle Sam: If you've got a catalogue of your products, S4, I can figure out which ones to buy. Meanwhile, I hope you're enjoying your tour of the ballpark. The team and I wish to have all of you enjoy a game one of these days, with access to the field for batting practice. It will have to be next season, as ours ended yesterday. It was a rebuilding season, though.

Soil: You can just go to our website and click the products link and you'll see everything.
Daemon: Uhm Soil? They like to keep it old school in Wildcat City.
Soil: Oh... Well, we usually print our catalogs for airplanes and in hotels where tourists like to hang out and rest at a lot. I also print those catalogs for subways and cruise ships as well. But I'll go ahead and print one and have it sent to Uncle Sam's house instead.
Star: Our products are designed to increase efficiency in our lives without affecting any of our traditions. Many people are becoming more busy in their lives and with our technology, we will help not only increase efficiency but also work productivity as well.
