The Chemosphere house was called "the most modern home built in the world." It was built on a unbuildable steep slope in Southern California on a concrete pier and seems to be a UFO that floats over the land below. This is the house an anthro dragon or gryphon would live in.

It was featured on "The Duplicate Man" episode of The Outer Limits from 1964. A similar building appears in the video game "Grand Theft Audio: San Andreas."
