I prefer this with the proper Excelsior nacelles. But I think the reason for the Constitution Refit nacelles was to demonstrate how badly the Dominion War was going. Starfleet probably had shipyards build(rebuild)ships with whatever was around. No time to safely transport correct pieces. Hence the loving term the Trek Fandom gave all these ships "The Frankenstein Fleet"🖖
