Ref sheet: Taena Haslinger by RalloonX
Age: 134
Gender: Female
Height: Six feet, three inches (approx)
Weight: likely something over 260 lbs, due to the heavy metal skeleton and additions.
A young-looking fox woman with shining golden/yellow fur, bright green eyes and a relatively slim, though slightly toned, figure.
Often dresses in business suits, but may also prefer dresses and skirts for certain occasions; she also carries with her an incinerator pistol; a specialised type of gun that uses highly augmented fuel to torch enemies with ease yet conserve the total amount to last for at least a few days.
Her happy smiles often alight even the dimmest of places, unless one tells her actual age; then people creep away, hoping to pretend she doesn't exist.
While one might not deem her to be an unhealthy person, the very reason for her strange (although perfectly normal-looking) form was disease.
After helping to rehabilitate Aleissa Stormwind following her strange fusion and transformation, the two formed a very intimate and close relationship with one another.
Unfortunately, one day she was diagnosed with bowel cancer. Even after intensive treatment, it remained within her system and threatened to spread even further; while she was prepared for her final end at the age of 42, Aleissa started working on her own anonymous methods to "treat" her.
What she did, though, was to create a robotic shell closely similar to the skeleton of a fox woman, one that could easily contain a brain and a heart for future safekeeping.
When she revealed to Taena that she had laid out a blueprint, Taena was both overjoyed and terrified; while she didn't want to leave behind such a kind woman, she also feared for her sanity and the stigma attached to living as a machine.
She said she'd work it out; hesitantly, Taena accepted the offer.
While it took a few weeks to get everything working right, and her sensory functions as well, eventually the wonders of artificial skin and fur would transform her into a perfectly normal woman.
Yes, she would be unable to eat in the way a normal person would, but this new operation both innovated the medical and scientific world of her time and enabled her to live on much longer than ever should have been possible.
She lived together with Aleissa for the rest of her life, until calamity struck and Aleissa was infected by the Many in an off-world mission on a nearby planet.
Since then, she's been roaming space looking for her long lost love, hoping to either save her or to end her love's suffering once and for all.

You're quite welcome, and
ralloonx can always use more customers. :)

Now I got an other artist who could help me!
This one is really remind me one of a commission I raised for my friend, but it's for human brain, and no other organs. Even it's in anthro and far-future setting, they still looks quite a certain of believability. And also love that story too.
I always fascinated to see human or other sapient beings being transplanted into cybernetic, but visually organic and realistic body, especially in different species and genders. It nailed only the first part, but already caught me a big interest.

What a fascinating character and backstory! And the artwork is incredible! I just adore the cross section in the middle! Though that name, The Many, that wouldn't happen to be the Many of Tau Ceti V, would it? The extremely aggressive parasitic life form created by the evil megalomaniac AI known as SHODAN?
Gelatinous-esque aliens with a touch of The Thing bent on galactic conquest; there's a lot more behind them but that's not for public talk.
Funny thing: I had this reference sheet made for this character but actually ended up never using her for roleplaying, which was kind of my intention with this to start with.
