Looks like I forgot to post a piece from Further Cofusion 2008!

The artists of Pirate's Row like to have themed challanges for the larger conventions. Since the convention theme for Further Confusion 2008 was "The Fur East", doing the animals of the Chinese Zodiac seemed like the perfect theme for our challenge.

We had 12 artists participate this time around, and all 12 artists also drew the Cat, which is the 13th animal of the Chinese Zodiac, who was tricked out of his place in the Zodiac by the Rat. So as a bonus, anyone who bought all 12 of the Zodiac prints from the artists received a special 13th print of all the cats, disguised as the zodiac sign of the artist who drew them, trying to sneak in and claim his rightful position again.

My year of birth on the Chinese astrological calendar was the year of the Monkey, so I drew a fanciful version of The Monkey King from Chinese Mythology.
