Here's a sneak peek at another supporting LQC character. This is Nanenda Tagai. She's an artist who makes a living by doing tattoos and body piercings. This is an old drawing, from 1999 or 2000, shortly after I first created her. Not pictured is her kewl tongue stud. Sometimes I wanna kick myself when I look at my old art and see all my reptiles with their nostrils down near their lips instead of near the top of the snout like they should be. It wasn't until I started studying other anthro artists' reptiles around 2005 that I finally corrected that. The essential elements of Nani's character design have stayed the same since this drawing. But I do want to give her some clothing that has a little more zazz than the generic shorts and spandex top she's wearing here. I think I've already got something.
