This is a Raptorcat.
Raptorcats are a fluffy and friendly species. Males and females both come in various vibrant colorations usually reminiscent of existing parrots. Their bodies have the build of your typical house cat and their sizes can vary based on their respective parrot species. Much like house cats, when a raptorcat leaps from high altitudes its body flattens against the push of the wind and - thanks to its nifty plumage - can soar distances of up to 100 yards using their birdlike tails as rudders to maneuver if the wind conditions are ideal. Their bodies are covered in a fluffy down-like coat with birdlike feathers on their tail, head, chest and forelegs.
Both males and females sport an impressive fringe on the top of their heads that stands up when excited or happy.
Males however can be distinguished by their majestic main of feathers around their neck which can poof up and make them look quite large when feeling threatened or territorial.
Raptorcats will often imprint on their masters if they are taken in early enough in life. They become very loyal and loving to their owners. The earlier the bod is formed, the better. Preferably as hatchlings.
Raptorcat's favorite foods are fruits and nuts and some bugs if they need the extra protein.
These adorable critters will be up for adoption soon. So make room in your furry family for one of your own!
