This will be worked on over time, giving a shortened history of each of the characters that are listed since it's been nearly four years since I first started writing and making characters.

Aleron Bane
He was pretty much the very first character that was to stick for the long run. To those who are knowledgeable in aerodynamics and the manufacture of airplanes; Yes, I'm aware that his name is almost identical to an aileron. However, his name stems from one of the few launch titles for the Xbox 360, The Elder Scrolls IV, from an NPC of the same name, Aleron Loche. Those who aren't aware; NPC Aleron is related to one quest in that game, stemming from Bravil, one of the game's towns. I won't spoil it for those who haven't played it, just to keep things cool.
Anyway, OC Aleron was originally to be a form of persona for me around the time I first started writing, as well as intending to be a bit of a self-insert for the first story I've worked on and uploaded, A Being of Insect and Steel. As time went on though, I saw that self-insert fics don't really go well with the reading community, and given that I was far too ambitious back then, I felt that he wouldn't do as a self insert and instead was – so to say – downgraded to a simple, if not noteworthy, character. Since his status, he his name has been used often for various one-shots and short-lived stories that I have written over the past three and a half years. If anything, he's pretty much my most flexible character, if only for the name and such.
Oh…Christ, just remembered of all the other fics I tried to shoehorn my character into since they were accepting character positions…

Marcus Flint
Marcus was the second character overall to be made and stick, and was based off of a friend I had back in high school. It's…been a few years since I last been in touch with them, but anyway. Marcus was made to be a good friend for Aleron, largely in terms of being a gaming buddy. Marcus was also made around the time I wanted to incorporate some fantasy-like stuff into my work, hence why he was herculean in strength. This doesn't mean that he's a walking mound of muscle, god no. It just means that he's like a…now that I remember her, a variant of Pippi Longstocking; Able to lift wights that would normally break the back of even a body builder.
Due to his physique, it was only fitting for me to make him a bit of a person that liked to work out, if only for the basic kinds such as jogging and pull/push ups. If he needed to fight, his skin wasn't as durable as his bones, which was a form of handicap should he try to fight bare-handed against something that was tougher than flesh. This resulted in him getting a pair of metallic gauntlets that allow him to use his full strength without risk of injury. The attire, over time, grew to be a near-full outfit, yet I made no update to any story he appeared in. Said outfit consisted of the gauntlets, an open-faced helmet, elbow, shin and knee guards, as well as metal boots for kicks.

Natasha Cova
Ah, the Russian sniper among my characters. First one, if you were to count Enforcer Snipe. Anyway, Miss Cova here was originally based heavily on C&C: Red Alert 3's Natasha Volkova, the commando for the Soviet forces in said game. Main differences is that Cova was originally an assassin/hitwoman earlier in her lifetime and – for a lack of better words – 'retired' when the security measures were getting to be far too tight for her tastes as time went on for some of her contracts. She would lay low for several years, living off of the wealth she accumulated over her career.
It wasn't till the turn of the fifth year after she quit being a hitwoman that she got a proposal from Genetic Enigmas and Nano-virus Eradication, otherwise known as GENE, to serve as a form of guard. Initially, she was going to decline, but the urge for some kind of action started to well up, and after contacting the one who sent the proposal and hearing what her post would truly be, she easily accepted. Armed with her modified Dragunov rifle, she was more that able to fill her role as a guard, often with lethal results for anyone that tried to make a break for it from GENE's main facility.

Lucas Alexander
Ah, the child-turned-victini from the nineteenth century of a young United States. Victini was another fifth generation 'mon that was a favorite to me, and hearing that for its lore that it was asleep for two centuries is what prompted me to make V is for Victory. I had to try and learn about times back then, so the initial chapter of it was pretty much faulty as hell since I was going with what I hurriedly learned around the time. I also used a room that was somewhat of a copy of the room that served as Victini's room in Pokemon Black and White.
It was…also kind the first time I tried to do a pseudo-historically accurate time-chart to serve as a bit of a transaction between the first and second chapters after Lucas' transformation. At the end of the two century slumber is when he would wake up, but not until after Marcus happens across him via the slab that marked the room he was in collapsing. However, it was around this time that I never really got around to continue working on the story, pretty much leaving Lucas' main development in its spot. However, the questionnaire I was starting to do kinda worked on it a bit further, polishing him to being nervous about anything of the modern times, having originally lived where the US was starting to get onto its feet.

Alerox Banish
Hoo boy, Alerox. Where to start…
Alerox's lifetime was a rather troubled one. He was originally to serve as an antagonist for the first major story I had planned, The Fall of Team Enigma, with him being a near-identical clone of Aleron around the time to combat and frame him for activities he didn't do. It was to serve as a large tie-in for each and every story I had done up to that point, and that's where things got a helluva lot more complicated. The idea may have seemed good on paper, but in practice, I had to make sure that each of the affected stories could tie in with others without leaving any plot holes in between. That turned out to be my undoing for the first two years of my writing 'career'.
Back to the character, and like stated, he was to be a major antagonist for it. Over time of not being able to write and all the hardships I went through though, he was converted into what I could name as a 'Funnel Character'. Meaning that he was one that I pooled all my negative emotions into, largely ones of anger and even dwindling sanity. This in turn made his own character degrade as more of these emotions pooled into him, eventually him being designated by me as what I could end up becoming should I someday snap and lose myself.
Recent times though have steadily worked on stabilizing him, and instead of him being a mirror of a crazed me, he started to become someone that I feel I should try and input into some stories other than the one-shots I do on Halloween. He's still insane, but not as dangerously unstable as compared to himself as of last year. I have though, worked out some traits that can still inform others that it's him and not Aleron; Sadistic grin plastered on his face almost constantly, claws for fingertips with the hands nearing a charred-black in color and – applicable in only a few select scenarios – spectral flames like as though he isn't a physical being.

I dunno, I was just compelled to do this since it was starting to near the point where I've been writing for nearly three and a half years now. I felt like sharing the history of each character, ranging from what inspired them up to a small portion of their background and development over time.
