Commission - Animal Unleashed
A long overdue commission for
argent-fatalis of his character Kate, an endearingly vicious wereliger ;P This image ended up being a lot more challenging than I had originally expected, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out :)

Whhoooooaaa... you never cease to amaze with your skill and detail. O_O The fur! I mean... just everywhere, that fur is so realistic. In terms of a pose, it's an excellent action-still that captures the intensity of the moment both in movement as well as expression. The blood on her hints that there's more to the story of what's going on here too. Beautiful.
Also, relevant sidenote: This makes Hulk Hogan tearing off his shirt look kinda lame. :D

Thank you so much :) I actually struggled with the pose a lot, felt not-quite-right to me for a long time, although as soon as I started actually painting in the details of the face, somehow it just made it feel right finally. Not sure why! Anyway, yeah, Argent was specific about wanting a bit of blood on her, but also how/where the blood was - it may look like she's mid-attack, but she's actually only just finished turning, and the blood is from her new, massive fangs and claws emerging and tearing through her old skin, leaving her fingertips and gums red. Blood on the clothes, then, is supposed to be transfer from her clawing through them. It's little details like that that I enjoy seeing in a client that, as you suggested, can really add to story-telling elements of a picture.
Haha, I actually looked up images like that of him (and The Incredible Hulk, too :b) while referencing torn clothing XD

*laughs at the last comment!* Haha... oh dear. I would be so tempted to make an alternate version with a speech bubble and her going "WHA'CHA GONNA DO!?"
Oooh wow, that's very awesome about the blood details; I hadn't even thought of that. That intrigues me all the more about the back-story of the character and how all this comes to be. Funny how sometimes an idea just starts to flow when you're mid-way through. I've had stories like that were I knew in general what I wanted to accomplish, but not always how it should happen, then it just... happens while writing.

Yeah, I love when that happens when I'm coming up with world/creature/race concepts and the like, really helps bring them to life :) But yeah,
argent-fatalis has a lot of in-depth information on his characters, typically, so I'm sure you could check out his page for more on her!

Yup :b
I was a bit torn on how to draw them, actually, since if you draw them "average"-sized, then on her giant frame, she looks like she doesn't have any and will simply look male... although I don't think making her gender clear is terribly high on this character's priority list :b

My single character images are usually around $150 for the character with a simple background - the more elaborate or difficult the character, and the more elaborate the background, the more expensive. If you just wanted, like, a snarling nude generic werewolf leaping at the screen, it'd be $150 for this sort of quality.
