Looking at this now I feel like the speech lines are too thick. I still think this is a good method... sketch/draw in pencil and then ink and clean up, scan and add text. (need to get a better pen when I have the money...) Anyway, I wanted to draw out "girls" and "Boy" to emphasize the singular versus plural, but the size of the text made that unfeasible. I still think it reads well
