Yet another blunder with the buss. On the bright side, any leftover barn siding will toast up nicely Friday morning.
I grew up within earshot of WTIC 1080 AM (at 50.000 Watts, they lit up the East Coast as far as the Mississippi). Disk jockey and pundit Bob Steele was a morning staple -- like corn flakes. Bob loved to tell tales of his fictional family. I remember the Thanksgiving his Uncle Cold Rolled went turkey hunting. He didn't see any turkeys, but he shot a bologna. It wasn't easy to stuff, but it was delicious...
