Another expression, another angle. A welcomed bit of practice nonetheless.

Not going to lie- this one's probably my favorite. Something about the look of intense concentration juxtaposed against the mundanity of his task cracks me up every time- especially since in the icon form, the cube is just out of frame. Also I'm just plain relieved at how well the far-side eye came out- that has never been a strong suit of mine, but his features in this picture really came together fairly well for once.

Unfortunately I just this moment, while writing this summary noticed a bit of a layering issue that I now can't unsee. Oh well. I'll fix it eventually- I'm never completely satisfied with any of my art. I just hit a point of resignation.

Incidentally, the single most frequent bit of praise I've gotten on this picture has been my attention to detail on how the cube faces aren't redundant. I'm suddenly glad I spent those extra ten minutes doublechecking it.
