Painted the eye first for a detail shot on her reference sheet the other day (http://fav.me/d80ficu) and then this happened. Just a quick speedpaint though, but it was fun. My wrist can't handle much at the moment, so I couldn't go into much detail.

Oh, they're feathers. They're really a shade of red, which is why I got confused since I didn't really see anything orange haha. All Droxigers have feathers on their heads, if you click the link in the description that goes to her reference sheet, you'll see them better.
