well there's 9 gabes :O gabe 8 is meant to be the most evocative of a spider, but of the 7 remaining gabes i see no reason why one couldnt be a beetle.

Ah okay, my brain went off thinking Gabe 8 was an Orchid Mantis based one XD But okay then, I'll have to draw up a Gabe in the future, they're just insanely cute X3

nah, their colours aren't anywhere near the colours of the actual insects half the time. and i wanted gabe8 to still have that 'fairy' look to him so the spiderweb just became wings.

Oh okay, but yeah, they're pretty neat, I like the concept of insect-Chuian robots with a fairy feel to them.

my original concept for archi was that he was meant to be like a comfort-bot. like, work in hospitals or in recovery or something. hence the fluffy parts, and the general rounded shape. i didn't actually think about what species would have built him, ahaha. he just sort of rolled out of my pen being cute and i was like 'wow you kind of look owl-like. archimedes it is.'
