“The long tail of the tribal King flicked gently in the morning light, the breeze ruffling the fur as is curled around the air. One leg dangled peacefully below, keeping his balance perfectly on the rough bark of the jungle tree. His ears flicked attentively to the sounds of distant birds singing out the morning chorus, the chattering of apes and monkeys as they swung from branch to branch, the tranquil rustles of leaves. Warm sun beams tore through the misty clouds of the horizon and the chill; the King let out a heavy, relaxed sigh as a fresh day’s yellow glow melted over his kingdom, pushing away the darkness and shadows, bringing a harmonious joy and hope to the new day.”I’ve been working on this one for a while now… and I finally finished it!
