hi hi =)
i saw http://www.furaffinity.net/view/14619525/ this pic and got excited and wantng to post some interesting things,that we has to think threeice before give an answer =)
Can you answer this right? be hones,and try don't google =)

I had a few hours to think this over. Now that I understand the numerical riddle, it seemed so obvious that I felt so silly for not thinking of it sooner. *claps paw to forehead, laughing* It may appear as a predictable pattern, but it isn't. Your last comment provided the ghost of an answer. Algebra doesn't always require calculators to solve, and when applying algebraic concept to this numerical riddle, the answer actually makes sense. If 1=5, then 5 could only be equal to 1. You said the answer was right in front of me the whole time, so this is the only solution that fits. My final answer is 5=1, for A=B as B=A.

Which is to say that this contest is now closed, right?
Also, I think the reason why I had so much trouble figuring this one out last night was because it was so late where I live that I wasn't thinking clearly enough due to exhaustion.
And don't even think about trying that regression trick on me; it just won't work on the likes of me, since my shapeshifting ability includes age change, plus I have what is considered Selective Magic-Based Hyper-Immunity (SMBHI), which means only the kinds of magic I allow can affect me while other kinds will have no effect on me. My fursona was born with this special immunity, as it is a genetic trait that cannot be copied by those who lack the SMBHI gene.

Sorry phone messed up it would be 56.
How?
1 = 5
2 = 15
3 = 215
4 = 3215
5 = 54
6 = 515
7 = 5215
8 = 53215
9 = 154
To get the answer 54 you have to assume it's a messed up culture that have only got symbolic representation and 4 fingers.
This works best when you do it with algebra
0 = e
1 = a
2 = a+b
3 = a+b+c
4 = a+b+c+d
5 = ae
6 = ae+a
7= ae+a+b
etc, etc
As 4 is the first number to not appear on the right hand side, we have to assume it represents a unit designator, where we would use 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,0 they only have 1,2,3 and 4 on "hand" and have not figured out quite yet how to designate units/tens/etc

Ah hah, alrighty, normally my best subject is math, but in this case the pattern stands out easily, every time there is a number for example
1=5 the next one moves the number on the right side into the first number on the left side, 2=15, now the one is infront of the 5, and at this continues, 3=215, 4=3215 which means that five obviously has to equal
5=43215
That or I just made myself look like a complete idiot.

(posting again because i am not good at reading what i just wrote...)
43215, right?
you keep the 5 from the first answer then add the # from the last
for instance, the 1=5 will then have its one transferred onto the next number, which is 2=15
this would mean that it could keep getting larger, and it is just every number that came before plus a 5 at the end of that.
...or i could just be hopelessly lost and grasping at whatever i can find ^.^'

hmm...it's nice to see it isn't as easy as I thought.
could it be the pattern resets itself back to the beginning of the loop when it reaches 5?
but since 4 is not used in the right hand side, and i know that 43215 isn't it, then it might be 54 with the pattern rolling back around.
either that or 45, but I feel that the other is more likely.
I know it has something to do with that 4, and I believe that the pattern resets itself (otherwise i think 43215 would be right).
