Digital? I almost though it was watercolor paint for a minute. Do you have any tips when it comes to scenery?

I'm hardly professional at this, but I think genuine nature observation helps a lot when trying to set a tone. Observe the way the atmosphere effects objects and scenery on the horizon, observe how light passes through clouds and how it interacts with the surface, yadda yadda yadda. Pay attention to natural beauty, is really my only advice. I'm still learning all this myself.

Oh, and if you use photoshop, organized layers. Layers layers layers.
