Wait horns? Well…I guess it’s not all suprising when you realize what the blue fluid is; it’s supposed to be transgenic agricultural stimulant specifically for bulls (you know, alters the genes, inhibits myostatin production, catalyzes anabolic reactions, heavily boosts testosterone productions…all kinds of fun stuff). I imagine the green tentacle transgenic compound is a similar project, but still rether different.

nah, that's just what they call animals who are kind of gene-spliced or whatever http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transgene though I'm kind of abusing the term to kind of fit the plot device from spider-man (ie. apparently all you need to be to transform into a super hero/villain is to have some kind of fluid exchange with a transgenic animal that is apparently tossing it's genes everywhere )
