Another old drawing that apparently was never posted.
Perhaps hunter, who happens to be a dragon, would be a clearer title?

Hey, doing OK. Hopefully the same for you.
Yeah, hunter dragon does sound like a better option, but, the confusion created by saying Dragon Hunter is fun in its own right in this context I think. Plus, who knows, might help root out people who don't like dragons unsuspectingly. Win win. :)

O: Why not Dragon Slayer then? So many ways that can go, especially if you take out the S :D
Btw Mac, remember that story with Morphea, the amoeba girl? Well, I remember how you seemed to like the theme, and I'm currently posting a new story called "Prayer into the Dark" which deals with sciencey stuff and a morally ambiguous gal like Julie. Thought you might wanna check it out!

Interesting take on it. Though my only issue is why would a hunter want to use melee on a hunting target? It runs the risk of spoiling the meat with a bad strike or ruining potential trophies. Likewise it's hard as hell to sneak up on some game animals, so I'd personally rather see ranged weapons applied.
I'm confused with the sash under the arms, is that decoration or some kind of wings? To me this seems like (especially due to the white coloring) this would just jump out and scream that there was a predator in the woods and scare off the prey or at least get caught on something. If they are a kind of wing-like device that aids in flight I'd understand that, though I still think you'd want something that didn't contrast you so much and aided in your natural colors for camouflage purposes.

Admittedly, this is almost 5 years old, any of the original ideas for it are probably lost in the murky depths of my mind by now.
However this is just one specific moment for the play on words. If she were meeting with a potential client who might hire her for some big game hunting or other task, you wouldn't necessarily need all your gear at hand.
The fabric, yep its meant to symbolize lost wings as mentioned in the note in the corner. It probably would be better dyed red to match, but if you're good enough it would hardly even be worthy of concern.
Rest assured though, I'm sure she has more gear and more outfits elsewhere, this is just this particular moment.
