Silver-level painting commission for 
roukan, though I ended up getting a little carried away with the car details XD I'm very happy with it, though I confess that I not only worked very closely from a photo reference of Roukan's for the car, I actually traced over it to get all the basic proportions right - I knew otherwise it would end up just looking wonky, which after spending that much time painting would have been a shame X3
The background is a stock photo I bought from www.dreamstime.com.

Mrs Ermine! THANK YOU for stating your tracing of the car. That is the up-front and honest thing to do and doesn't diminish my view of you as an artist in the least - in fact, it improves my view of you for being so up-front and honest! I truly appreciate that.

*blushes* Thank you! I'm sure many people - including myself - feel that tracing a photo like this is "cheating" somehow. Obviously I won't improve my skills as quickly by taking short cuts like this. However, I also feel that if I want to do "practice art" in areas I'm weak, it shouldn't be on a client's paid commission time - I owe it to them to produce the best calibre of work I can.
