i was taught this technique-
draw your arrow as you bring up your bow for the flight
make sure your arm is faceing the target and you are holding your bow parallel to your body
only draw with the fingertips of the three middle fingers on your hand so the string doesnt twist when you release
touch the fingers to the corner of your mouth
look straight down the arrow to aim
either hold your breath or let it out and then wait to let go between heartbeats
