Sometimes, the best way to enter the battlefield is on the back of a mighty beast. Those of the Space Wolves' Wolf Guard that wish to climb even higher into the wild hierarchy of their Great Company embrace the old Earth tradition of mounted cavalry with a flair that is all their own. Often, a Wolf Guard who decides to go and tame one of the gigantic Thunderwolves of Fenris' most northern environments are never heard from again. Those who return however are heralded as the insane heroes they've always ascribed to be. Though, their exploits are never known outside of the Space Wolf Chapter.

Mounted on the back of an apex predator, the Space Wolf Thunderwolf Cavalryman is a fearsome sight on the field, having no lack of speed over most terrains, these howling warriors run down the foes of mankind like the frightened prey they are. As members of the Wolf Guard of a Wolf Lord, each cavalryman has access to any and all weapons available to their Great Company's armory, backed up by the iron-like claws and fangs of their four legged brethren.
